Winning Ticket for Statuette 281-300

We conducted the drawing of the winning ticket for statuette 281-300 Saturday august 8th at Patches bar and grill on Panama City beach.  We loaded all 500 ticket stubs into the tumbler.  Dave Sullivan tumbled the stubs back and forth ½ a dozen times.  Darlene (patches manager) picked the winning ticket and handed it to Dave, at which time he made the announcement of who the lucky winner was. The name on the winning stub was Zoomie Lawrence aka William Lawrence.  He was the first Air Force diver to attend the Naval Divining and Salvage Training Center (NDSTC) back in the early 80s.  He now resides in Orchard Park New York. A package containing JAKE #281-300, matching coin, Certificate of Authenticity, piece of the veil, and the mold were shipped to Bill from Panama City August 12 with an expected delivery date of August 17. Don’t be disappointed for not winning.  The money from your ticket purchase allows us to provide scholarships for at least the next 5-6 years.  In fact it worked so well we plan on doing another raffle in the near future.  Please stay tuned to the diver face book sites and our website markvmonument.org. We will let you know as soon as we start the next one Thanks again for you participation……it could not have happened without you. Dave
